Job Description

 

As Eurofins' is ramping up our Security Operations Center (SOC), we are looking for a talented Information Security (Incident Response) Intern to join our driven, highly skilled and diverse L1 Incident Response Team for 6 months in Katowice. In the role, you will actively participate in L1 SOC team operations, including assisting in security monitoring solutions and reacting timely to security events, as identified. 

Duration: 6 months

Location: Katowice, Poland

Type of contract: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)

Responsibilities:

On this position you will monitor and analyse cyber-security events using SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and endpoint detection & response solutions, execute SOC procedures as well as triage security events and incidents, detect anomalies, and report remediation actions. Part of your duties will be to ensure completeness of the incident information and assist in the analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end-users. You will escalate incidents to be handled to L2 SOC team, when relevant and triage on general information security tickets.

Qualifications

If you currently enrolled or recent graduate in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in IT, Engineering or similar and are eager to learn the security technologies and how security operates this role will be perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for person with strong communication and detail-orientated skills. Proactive and adaptable personality with a keen analytical mindset, necessary to investigate cases is highly required.

Good English communication skills (written/oral) are necessary, knowledge of another language is a plus.
